چکیده
This paper examines social and technical factors that influence the acceptance of E-government technologies by public organizations. In regards to public organizations, IT acceptance is defined as “the belief that the organization will integrate a specific IT innovation into its service production processes and the potential for the organization to routinely rely on the innovation in order to achieve its primary goals.” A conceptual model of IT acceptance is proposed which includes factors from the organizations task environment, structural characteristics, technical capacity, and the technology development process. Data from a national study of state program managers is employed to test four hypotheses regarding these dimensions. Regression analysis is employed to estimate the effects of these dimensions on the acceptance of Internet-based technologies. Results provide evidence that the specific type of Internettechnology should be congruent with the organization’s task environment. In addition, stakeholder involvement in the application development process seems to increase the acceptance of Internet-based technologies. Finally, there is evidence that different Internet-based technologies may stem from different motivations. More basic forms on online technologies may be used primarily for information dissemination while more interactive technologies may be viewed as a means to improve internal service production processes.

Giant Unilamellar Vesicles (GUVs) consisting in self-closed lipid bilayers of 0.5-100 µm diameter are considered as oversimplified models of cells because of their biological membrane and micrometric size while Large Unilamellar Vesicles (LUVs) of 100-500 nm diameter have applications in drug delivery. To improve structural and mechanical properties of these vesicles, we have developed two cate...

متن کاملThe Impacts of Modernity upon Religiosity: A Critical Study of Charles Taylor
The relationship between modernity and religiosity has been in the center of many scholarly debates. Among others, Charles Taylor presents in his works a general picture of the elements that shape the secular age. He starts with the question why people used to be faithful, while they are not easily so in our age. To answer, he explores the past five centuries in the West and coins some terms to...
متن کاملSelf-Injury Behaviors and Aggression Follow Charles Bonnet Syndromein a Hemodialysis, Diabetic Patient
Objective: Isolated visual hallucinations is considered as the Charles Bonnet syndrome. Ophtalmic or brain organic disease is a necessary or exclusionary criterion for diagnosis. In previous reports, it reported only solitary hallucination. In this report, we found multiple hallucinations. Case Presentation: In this article we report a 64 year-old blind man with renal failure under hemodialy...
